Short version: some links on Seoul Sunbae are affiliate links. If you book through one, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we recommend.
How It Works
When a guide mentions something you can book, such as a day tour, a hotel near a festival or a transfer, we sometimes link to a booking site like Klook or Agoda through an affiliate programme. If you buy through that link, the booking site pays us a small share of the sale. Your price is the same as going to the site directly.
Our Rules
- Recommendations come first. We decide what is worth your time before we look for a link, and we say “skip it” when something is not worth it, even if it could earn us money.
- Free options get equal space. Wherever there is a free or cheaper way to do something, the guide tells you about it.
- No clinics, ever. Seoul Sunbae never takes commissions, referral fees or free treatments from clinics, hospitals or medical facilitators. Our health and wellness guides name hospitals only as factual examples of how the system works, never as paid recommendations.
- Facts are checked against official sources, not against what a partner says. Each guide shows the date it was last checked.
How To Spot An Affiliate Link
Affiliate links sit in clearly marked boxes inside the guides. Ordinary links to official sites, such as VisitKorea, Seoul city or a festival’s own page, are never affiliate links.
